Regulatory mechanisms of development, aging and metabolic diseases
We use mice and Drosophila as model systems to study molecular mechanisms underlying development, aging, and metabolism, and their key roles in stem cell fate determination, morphogenesis, adult homeostasis, and metabolism. Our ultimate goal is to develop early diagnostic strategies and corresponding drug targets for aging, tumors, metabolic abnormalities and other related diseases.
Keywords: developmental regulation, aging, lipid metabolism, signal transduction, protein modification, epigenetics, nutrient sensing, vesicle trafficking, mouse, Drosophila,
